What is the Voice Library and how do I use it?

D-ID’s Voice Library gives you access to a wide range of realistic, expressive voices — perfect for storytellers, marketers, and content creators.

You can preview and select voices instantly to use in your videos, no setup required.

How to access the Voice Library:

  1. Open the Studio editor
  2. Click on the Script tab
  3. Then click on Voice to open the Voice Library

Voice Library features:

You can filter voices based on:

  • Language
  • Gender
  • Age
  • Use case (e.g. Narration, Customer Service, Characters)
  • Tier (Standard or Pro)

You can also adjust:

  • Speed – Slow down or speed up the voice
  • Style – Choose expressive styles like cheerful, excited, serious, etc. (if available for that voice)

Previewing a voice:

To preview a voice:

  • Click on any voice from the list
  • Then click the Play button next to it to hear how it sounds

Once you find the right voice, simply select it — and it will be used to bring your script to life in the video.
