How do I create an Express Avatar on mobile?

With Express Avatars on the mobile app, you can quickly create a photorealistic avatar in Full HD (1080p), featuring natural body and hand movements — all from a short video

 

  • Steps to create your Express Avatar:

    1. Log in to your D-ID account via the mobile app
    2. Tap “+ Create”
    3. Select “Create an avatar”
    4. Choose Express Avatar
    5. Follow the on-screen guidelines and tap Next

      Video recording tips:

      • Keep your face clearly visible at all times
      • Record in a quiet, well-lit environment
      • Look directly at the camera
      • Pause between sentences with your mouth closed
      • It’s recommended to preview the script before recording so you can read it smoothly
      • You can choose to clone your voice in different languages.

    6. After recording the speech:

      • Check the required checkboxes and tap Next
      • If you’re not satisfied with the video, you can re-record as many times as needed
      • Record the Consent Statement

        Be sure to pronounce every word clearly — incorrect or incomplete consent may cause a failure

        Once submitted, your Express Avatar will begin generating. Processing time depends on video length and system load.
